Jewish Prayer Tying band around arm and forehead?
I saw a Jewish Man perform a prayer today at the airport. In addition to his prayer Shawl…he tied what looked like a box to his forehead and a black strap around his arm….after which he read from his religious book. What does this mean.
it is called a teffilin, they are two boxes with leather straps, one for your head one for your arm inside the boxes are prayers
