Christians do you’ve to change your given name once you accepted Jesus?
Dear Christians do you have to change/alter your name once given by your parents if you accept Jesus?

i think that you may be getting a catholic tradition confused with something else. When a catholic is confirmed, the get a confirmation name. It’s usually taken from a saint or a person from the bible etc. so your name doesn’t change you actually receive another name. When you pick this name you do a lot of research on the person that you will be named after. and you pick that person because of what they did and what they stand for. I think that this is maybe what you are confusing. I hope this helps.
