no offense,but why do some let people make up the vision of heaven for them?

instead of making up ur own ,depend on others to fullfied a void in their lifes ,or put the picture in ur mind no ofense again put picture of jesus or other idols lik mary ,then all of sudden they are happy and fine .like in mark twain story letters from the earth that everyone is fix on this idea of heaven . i dont know im confuse????
